Character Creation Management System
We've implemented a system that will disable character creation when a realm has a queue to better control realm populations. This system will disable character creation for accounts without characters on an individual realm when it has a queue. This will limit population growth on congested realms during peak hours and assist us in our efforts to provide a better overall gameplay experience for our players, especially those on high population realms.
Please note that players with existing characters on a queued realm will still be able to create characters, and during off hours when there is not a queue all players may create characters as normal.
After Logging In
Once you login, you can create a character for yourself by choosing your race, appearance, and class. To learn more about classes before making your decision, please visit our World of Warcraft Classes Guide.
Horde vs. Alliance Split
 |
The Horde is battling the Alliance in the world of Azeroth. Horde and Alliance players are unable to group/party with each other, trade, create guilds, or even talk to each other. If you wish to play with other friends, make sure you select races that are allied with each other. You can have characters on your account of either Horde or Alliance faction on the Player vs. Environment servers. On Player vs. Player servers you can only have either Horde or Alliance characters but not both. You and your friends must choose whether you all will create Alliance or Horde characters to play together. When selecting your race we suggest you first read about the racial bonuses. |
